Black Oven’s unit is located in UNESCO World Heritage Zone in Georgetown, Penang. Black Oven is a modern and laid-back bakery unit with the interior screams warm and welcoming, the same as what is produces in the unit itself.

 

Brighter colors and tones are used in the bakery to make it quirkier, fun-looking and relaxing. This unit is designed to be more humble looking but still maintaining the elegance in the midst of modesty. Black oven’s uses dynamic design in its interior and furniture to emphasize its concept and creating a fluid image of the bakery.

 

The ground floor is prioritised with working spaces rather than relaxed mood created in the first floor. The furniture used is designed not only for aesthetic purpose but as well technically functional.
